Where once there was a solo artist, now there is a full band. Womps used to be the sole voice of Scottish wunderkind Ewan Grant – now it’s all about the visual viscera and aural onslaught of three lads going mental onstage. More versatile that a traditional grunge band, Womps’ influences are a who’s who of awesome – from the ubiquitous Nirvana to underground superhero Elliott Smith.
